let me tell you something about my food related life…
I’m a trained chef and I started my cooking career 2001 at the famous german cooking organization ‘Die Jungen Wilden’ founded in 1999 by german top chefs. Aim of this organization was to bring back the passion and respect for food to the kitchen.
After my training I worked 3 years in a five *****+ categorie Spa Hotel in Germany, with a 2** Michelin kitchen chef the last half year before I moved to Norway. This Hotel was chosen as the best Hotel in Germany in 2016.
From 2006 to present I’m working as a banquet chef at Norway’s second biggest hotel.
So long with the formal stuff…
Actually what’s all about is my passion for Italy and for italian food. My whole life I travelled to Italy, especially to the south. I imagine myself living on an old farm on Sicily and preparing food, watching the mediterranean sea and drinking a soft sparkling white wine made of my own grapes… .
With this feeling in mind I prepare food. I’m reducing preparing steps to just the essentials and I’m using all my professional experience to make food as simple as possible. After 15 years of cooking I’m able to say that this is the real challenge of making food!
Now I’m happy to present you the results of the food I adore. I only will show you food i prepare at home for me and my family.
